Every extension service starts with a complimentary consultation, because length, fullness, method, and color matching are different for every guest. We section your natural hair, plan placement so bonds or wefts sit flat against your scalp, and match your Great Lengths hair to your natural color and undertone before we ever begin the install.
Most guests come to us for one of two reasons: adding length and fullness they cannot grow on their own, or camouflaging thinning through a color change or life event. We ask which one applies to you at the consultation, because it changes how much hair we recommend and where we place it.

Aftercare & Maintenance
Great Lengths bonds and hand-tied wefts need scheduled move-ups as your natural hair grows, typically every 6 to 10 weeks, so the attachment stays comfortable and hidden. We recommend a sulfate-free shampoo, brushing from the ends up with an extension-safe brush, and booking your Extensions Blowout instead of styling them yourself in the early days. Before swimming at the beach, braid or tie extensions back and rinse with clean water afterward, since salt water and chlorine dry out the bonds faster than fresh water.

How long do extensions last?
With proper care and scheduled move-ups, several months. We will set a maintenance schedule at your consult.
Will they damage my hair?
Applied and removed correctly by a trained stylist, our methods are gentle on your natural hair.
What is the difference between K-tips and hand-tied wefts?
K-tips are individual keratin bonds attached strand by strand for a very natural part and movement. Hand-tied wefts add fuller volume faster. We will recommend one at your consult based on your goals and hair density.
Can I still color my hair with extensions in?
Yes, but tell us before you book so we can protect the bonds or wefts and use a formula and timing that will not damage the attachment point.
