Whether it is a Friday refresh or the morning of your event, a professional blowout makes everything feel put together. We smooth, add body, and make it last.
A blowout is more than drying your hair, it is shaping it while it dries so the style holds. We section, rough-dry, then finish with a round brush or flat iron depending on the texture and the look you want. For special occasions we schedule a trial run when we can, so your wedding or event-day style is not the first time you have seen it.
Belmar summers are humid right up against the shore, so a blowout done in July is set with a different finishing product and more hold than the same style in the dead of winter. We adjust for that automatically, and if you are heading straight to the beach or a boat after your appointment, tell us and we will style it to survive salt air rather than wilt in the first hour.

Heidy specializes in beautiful blowouts and long haircuts, and offers highlight services for lived-in blondes and brunettes looking to go lighter. She joined the team fresh out of The Salon Professional Academy and continues training with owner Lea to expand her services.
Guests booking with Heidy often come in for a standing weekly or biweekly blowout, since a consistent stylist gets to know your hair's quirks and can adjust technique visit to visit rather than starting over each time.

We keep a Healthy Hair Blowout on the menu specifically for regulars who come in weekly, since that guest needs a faster, lighter-touch service than someone booking a one-off style for an event. Tell us at booking which one you are, and we will schedule accordingly.
Aftercare & Maintenance
Sleep on a silk or satin pillowcase and loosely pin your hair up overnight to stretch a blowout to three or four days. A small amount of dry shampoo at the roots on day two keeps volume without a full restyle. If you get blowouts regularly, ask about our Healthy Hair Blowout, priced for guests who come in weekly. Avoid tying it up in a tight elastic on day one, since that is the fastest way to leave a dent or crease in an otherwise smooth style.

Two to four days for most hair, longer with a little dry shampoo and a loose overnight style.
Can you do my hair for a wedding or event?
Yes. Special-occasion styling is on the menu, and we recommend booking early for event dates.
Do you offer blowouts for guests with extensions?
Yes, our Extensions Blowout is styled to protect your bonds or wefts while still giving you full, finished movement.
What if I have very curly or coarse hair?
We adjust technique and product for your texture, and we will always tell you honestly how long a smooth blowout will hold on your hair type.
Can I book a group blowout for a bridal party or event?
Yes, tell us your group size and timeline when you book so we can hold the right window and stylists for everyone. Large groups on tight timelines book best on weekday mornings, since weekend afternoons are our busiest window.
